At Ayon International, developing each child’s confidence and skills is a paramount importance and we endeavour to provide a happy, caring and secure environment in all our nurseries. We offer extended preschool to this age group child. They stay for full day program and spend more time with specialist teachers and extend their knowledge, intelligence and are able to stimulate their curiosity in an effective way.
At this stage our curriculum facilitates introduction of academic skills and enable children to focus on challenges related to concepts, early literacy, early numeracy, writing skills and helps them to build a strong concept of school environment. This enables them to develop skills and broader understanding of surrounding environment.
At this stage we introduce computer (I.C.T.) to kids to enjoy learning computer and learning through computer.
Here teachers play alongside children and support them to engage with a good range of learning resources. Teachers promote the culture, heritage and languages among children. They use questions to extend their understanding. Our curriculum focuses on:
- Relates to using ideas about number, quantity, measurement, pattern, shape and space.
- Covers communication with one another and developing skills in talking, listening, writing and reading.
- Covers investigating and beginning to understand the things, places and people around them.
- In which the goals relate to developing confidence and independence while learning to concentrate and to enjoy sharing as part of a group.
- Covers finding ways to communicate by using colour, shape, sound, texture, movement and stories.
- Relates to improving control and coordination of their bodies while learning to move and handle equipment.
The usual timing in a day for this age group children is as per below schedule. The day nursery is available up to 07.00 pm as per parent’s requirements.
